Joel and Julia met in Portland, Oregon through a work project. Julia asked Joel out for drinks at East Burn. Since then, they've been traveling coast to coast and spending lots of time outdoors.
We had a small wedding ceremony on Dec. 21, 2024 out in the Three Sisters National Forest with close family. We shared personal vows and mugs of hot cocoa between the trees; and had glimpses of sunshine before the winter rain.
