A young lady saw a "Friend Suggestion" of hot guy. Boldly, she decided she had nothing to lose and wrote an email to this handsome man suggesting that he should consider having a "...Latina in his life". Smart man agreed. They flirted. They got lost in life and forgot about each other. Three years later they reconnected and finally went on their first date. What Jen says about that first date: I wore my tallest heels and I was still absurdly shorter than him. The first thing that struck me about him were his manners... he was very polite and extremely chivalrous. I wasnt used to that kind of attention from the men I dated in LA. I wasnt too sure about the skinny white jeans he was wearing though. They were soon forgotten upon feeling his biceps as he offered his arm up while we walked to Laurel Tavern for drinks. We chatted about everything and it was so easy to talk to him. The night just flowed. Time disappeared. I couldnt help but be aware of how charming he was. I texted my sister to gush about the date. He convinced me to have my first shot of whisky ever... like I said, he was charming and he had my attention. I had a feeling this one was special. What Joel says: I knew I was in trouble the moment I saw her. She was beautiful, confident and witty and after we sat and had our first drink (which I now know was her first whisky ever), I learned she was also intelligent and driven (two traits I cherish in a woman). As the night progressed I knew she was special, that this would go the distance. Even after our second date ( in which I put up every red flags one could in a budding relationship), she stayed by my side. Since that second date we became inseparable, I had found my confidant, partner, best friend and lover. It's a rare thing to find the souls counterpart and in finding Jennipher, I did just that. J2 forever!
Joel pulled off keeping something from Jen and completely surprised her with a ring. She had no idea. He was very nervous and he is never nervous in front of crowds. Jen should have known!
