Hello everyone, my name is Joel! I'm 30 years old and I grew up on the East Coast for most of my life. I moved around a lot as a kid, as my parents were in the military. I work for the Department of the Navy at Pearl Harbor Naval Base on Oahu. When I was a kid, I wanted to be a marine biologist, but I couldn't swim, lol. An interesting fact that most people don't know about me is that I grew up in the Azores when I was about 7-8 years old. I enjoy playing video games, watching documentaries and making review videos. I like to work on projects focused on using recycled materials such as metal, wood and plastic to create new items. Things I'm looking forward to in the near future is owning a home and having children. I knew Grace was the one because as we were getting to know each other, I felt as if I were talking to a mirror - another half of myself I didn't know existed. She is the one I've been praying for and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her.

Hello friends and family! I know I won't get to meet a lot of Joel's family until it's closer to the wedding, so I wanted to take the time to introduce myself! My name is Grace, I'm 30-something years old and I'm from Maui, HI. I grew up in Seattle, WA with my parents and four brothers (yes, four) and moved to Maui when I was 16 years old. I am currently a full time worship pastor at King's Cathedral and Chapels and it has been a passion of mine to continue in the work of ministry and songwriting as well. I love to read, travel, play music, cook, and speak in movie quotes. A special talent of mine is getting an entire room or karaoke bar to sing along to Boyz II Men with me at the top of their lungs. I'm very grounded in my faith, it is the very foundation of my life. I love time spent with my family and am very big on traditions. In the next five years of my life, I would hope to accomplish writing more music, owning a house with my future husband and having children as well. I love Joel very much and have been very fortunate to have someone as kind, loving and supportive as him. I hope to meet you all in person some day and get to hear all the tea on how Joel was growing up. ;)
