Things To Do

San Isidro

Here is a good list of restaurants to go to and things to do in the San Isidro area ❤❤❤❤❤ Aquí hay una buena lista de restaurantes a los que ir y cosas que hacer en el área de San Isidro.

Larcomar

Larcomar

610 Malecón de la Reserva, Miraflores, Provincia de Lima 15074, Peru

This is the touristy mall with a lot of good options for food. Some of Danitza's favorites: - Mangos for Breakfast with a beautiful view of the coast (buffet style) - La Bonbonniere for Breafast (Their French toast is THE BEST) - Tanta for Lunch or Dinner (order their tequenos and lomo saltado, but everything else is good too) - Pardos Chicken for Lunch or Dinner (really good Pollo a la Brasa, AKA Danitza's all time favorite food) - KO Asian Kitchen for Lunch or Dinner (really good sushi!! Danitza's favorite Sushi spot ever) Honorable Mentions: - Restaurante La Rosa Nautica for Dinner (Really nice spot for drinks and apps, not in Larcomar, but nearby) - Primos (Danitza’s #1 favorite pollo a la brasa spot. Trust me, you’ll love it here too)

Barranco

Huacachina

Huacachina

Huacachina, Ica 11000, Peru

This is a whole day trip to the sand dunes, where they take you on their big bus to try different foods/wines, and then you get on these buggies or can sand board and take pictures here. To get tickets, Danitza recommends going to Larcomar, right outside Larcomar, by the Av Jose Larco, there will be tour guides selling tickets. You can just purchase from them and maybe negotiate the price as well. This is a FUN event.

Cusco

Cusco

Cusco, Cusco, Peru

Machu Picchu is located in Aguas Calientes, Cusco. This is a 10/10 experience and Danitza recommends everyone to go! In order to get to Cusco, you need to take a flight there from Lima. Danitza recommends a minimum of 3 days to be there. The first day you should rest and acclimate in Cusco, take Soroche pills with you (these can be bought in Lima), acclimating is very important, or else you will regret coming! Machu Picchu can be seen in one day, you need to get tickets ahead of time, since they tend to sell out. And you take a train (about 2-3hr) into Aguas Calientes. You are welcome to stay the night here, however there’s more things to do in Cusco so we don’t recommend staying for too long here. There are a lot of other Inca ruins to check out in this area as well!

For all the days along the way
