What is the attire or dress code?

It is Black Tie preferred, so formal attire is also acceptable. Nothing casual please! And thank you!

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We respectfully ask that you do not bring your children. We would like our special day to be an adult-only occasion.

When to arrive?

Answer

We ask that you arrive at 4:30 PM for a prompt ceremony at 5:00 PM, with festivities to follow.

Will there be alcohol?

Yes, there will be a glass of champagne provided for the main toast, as well as one drink ticket.

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony will take place in the Rose Garden outdoors. The reception will be indoors.

Where will the wedding take place?

Answer

The ceremony is in the Rose Garden and the reception is inside The Inn, both located at the Hudson Gardens & Event Center. Once at the venue there will be no further need for transportation to a second location. The reception is a quick dash inside from the ceremony.

Can I film or take pictures during the wedding?

Answer

We will have a professional photographer and videographer on site and will have no need for iPhone pictures. We ask that all phones be shut off or silenced during the ceremony so that all our guests can be present with us. Photographs and video are more than welcome during the reception.

What is the parking situation like?

Answer

The Hudson Gardens has two parking lots. The one that Google Maps brings up is farther and is primarily going to be for vendors. The main lot in front of their gift shop is the best and closest option. It is the lot the venue would prefer all of our guests park.

Where can guests leave gifts?

Answer

A designated gift table will be provided at the wedding (follow signage). Otherwise, all gifts can be sent to the address provided in the registry when you check out.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Colorado can be bipolar weather wise, but on the last day of summer, plan for a warm 70° ~ 80° day! The possibility of wind or rain could present itself, but is unlikely! If it does, it’s not typical of Colorado for it to last very long. It is not expected to get dark until around 7:30 PM or so in September. When it does, temperatures can drop down to 50° ~ 60°. We will be inside under climate control by that time.

Yes, you will be able to alert us of your dietary needs when you RSVP.

Will I be able to attend the wedding if I do not R.S.V.P. in time?

No. We will be unable to provide a place to sit or meal for those who do not RSVP, so if you would like to attend, please RSVP by the deadline on the invitation.

Have there been any hotel room blocks reserved?

Answer

There will be hotel blocks reserved for the wedding party and select guests who are in the wedding. More info on this is coming soon.
