we are getting married!

Anne and Joe first met circa 2016 at Eureka! Irvine at the outdoor patio, courtesy of Kevin Yoon. Little did Anne know that Joe was eyeing her all night long. They eventually ran in the same tangential friend circles and at church. But try and try as he might, she resisted his charms, not knowing he would be all she could think of the next few years. They crossed each others paths when Cara, their mutual friend had a COVID wedding and was playing matchmaker and sat Anne and Joe at the same table, a table for two. Once again, Joe couldn't keep his eyes off Anne that night. He even treated her out to Sharetea after the wedding. Her favorite! Unfortunately, Joe let this re-spark opportunity flame out and yet again our two protagonists went their separate ways. But the third time's the charm and Joe tried to re-spark months later but someone had stolen Anne's heart temporarily. Then one day, Anne cracked open the door, using a not so sneaky move asking about "a road bike for her friend's husband." Shocked as he was that she would try something so bold, so obvious, Joe decided to give her a chance and kicked open the door. Still, it took FOREVER for Anne to come around and use the L word. He had to stick with her through 2 blown out tires in the middle of the night, a surprise emergent surgery, and many, many life/car/house maintenance lessons later for her to come around and be convinced. After painstakingly planning out a momentous day, Joe asked Anne to spend the rest of her life with the man of her dreams, in a dark dimly room in downtown LA. And of course, she said YES! Anne and Joe both look forward to spending the rest of eternity in each others' arms, committed to one another and building a life together. We both can't wait to celebrate with our loved ones!
