What time should I arrive at the ceremony?What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 4:30pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 5pm. If you arrive after the ceremony has begun, please stand in the back so as not to disturb the proceedings. There's a chance the security guard will hold you outside of the door if you arrive during the speaking portion of the ceremony.

We recommend taking an Uber to and from the wedding. For those planning to drive, please reconsider if you are going to be drinking. Otherwise, for designated drivers, there is a reserved parking lot for our event near the venue.

Formal attire for the Wedding. All other events are whatever you feel like.

The evening of Friday, February 13 will be the Welcome Event at Beachwood Blendery in Long Beach. Saturday, Valentines Day is the wedding day that will start in the afternoon and last all night. We also will be hosting a BBQ lunch event on Sunday. Please email cici@alumajournal.com if you are interested in joining.

Parking is one block away at the lot for Seventh-Day Adventist Church: 1001 E Third St, Long Beach, CA 90802. You should budget 5 to 10 minutes to park and walk to the venue.

Unless we have sent you a plus one in the formal invitation, then the answer is no. We are trying to keep our special event intimate.

Our wedding ceremony and reception will be adults only with the exception of kids in the bridal party. Kids are welcome at all other events.
