FAQs

Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be held on 15th September 2026, at Villa Giulia near Fano, Italy. There will be welcome drinks & a pizza party held at the Villa the night before. Full details can be found on the schedule page.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by February 28th 2026. If you have not RSVP'd by this date we will assume you are unable to join us. We will not be able to add on late RSVPs, as we will be finalising numbers with the venue.

Question

What should we do if we need to change our RSVP last minute?

Answer

Sometimes unavoidable things come up. Please let us know asap if you are no longer able to attend, so that we can update the venue.

Question

What is the best airport to fly in to?

Answer

The closest airports to the venue are either Rimini or Ancona airports, both are around 40-45mins drive to the venue. More details can be found on the Travel page.

Question

Is there parking available at the Villa?

Answer

Yes, there is parking for up to 50 cars at the Villa and we have exclusive use of the Villa for our stay!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation.

Question

Can I bring my own food and drink to the venue?

Answer

Meals throughout the wedding celebrations will be provided at the venue, so you shouldn't need to bring anything with you. For those staying at the Villa, breakfast and lunch will also be provided. No additional alcohol should be bought into the venue please!

Question

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please let us know when you RSVP.

Question

What will the weather be like in Italy in September?

Answer

We are hoping for sunshine, but sadly cannot control the weather! The ceremony, reception and wedding dinner are planned to be held outdoors (unless it is pouring rain...), so please bring a cardigan or light jacket for the evening if you feel the cold!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable and enjoy the day. The only ask is no white dresses please ladies!

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is gift enough, and we cannot wait to celebrate with all of our favourite people. If you do wish to gift us something extra, a contribution towards our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We would love for you to be fully present during the ceremony, so ask that there are no phones/cameras out until after 'I dos'. Our photographer will capture the special moments, that we will be happy to share with you after.

Question

What if my dress gets wrinkled in my suitcase?

Answer

There is a steamer available at the Villa - just ask at reception. Sophie will also be bringing a handheld steamer with her (just in case!).

Question

Answer

Yes, absolutely! We have exclusive use of the villa for our stay. The pool is open 6am-11pm each day.

Question

What is the vibe for night 1 (the pizza party)?

Answer

Very casual! (although Sophie is using it as an excuse to buy more new dresses...)
