If you're in town for the weekend:
1.) Explore Ballard & the Ballard Locks:
Visit Ballard's shops, walk along the waterfront and visit Hiram M. Chittenden locks to watch boats pass between Puget Sound and Lake Union. See salmon swimming upstream in the glass view room.
2.) Ballard Breweries, Bars or Wine Tasting:
Ballard has one of the highest concentrations of breweries in the country, plus several urban wineries. Many tasting rooms are walkable and open during the day.
3.) Pike Place Market & the Seattle Waterfront:
Browse local vendors, grab fresh seafood or coffee, and stroll along the waterfront with views of Elliot Bay and the ferries. Check out "Wings Over Washington," the Seattle Aquarium, or the Seattle Great Wheel on the waterfront.
4.) Seattle Sports:
The Seattle Mariners are scheduled to have a home game on Saturday night, the day before the wedding!
