Joe & Meghana

Joe and Meghana have known each other for years through church and the Syro community, but it wasn’t until April 2015—at a basketball tournament—that they were officially introduced. They were added to a group chat with a mutual friend, and from there, their friendship started to blossom. Over the next couple of years, they became the best of friends, chatting on social media and running into each other at church and social events. In 2016, they were asked to perform a dance for Syro Perunal, which gave them even more chances to hang out—carpooling to practice and spending time together afterwards. By July 2016, they both realized that their friendship was turning into something more. And so, they officially started dating, marking the beginning of their forever. Over the past 9 years, they’ve been through so much together, including a long 5-year stretch of a long-distance relationship. But once Meghana came home after finishing school, they knew it was time to make things official. And now, after all this time, they’re so excited to share this special moment with all of you—the moment they’ve been dreaming of for the last 9 years.
