We're Getting Married!

We met at a Sweet Tomatoes and were friends for a little while. One night, I went to a friend's birthday party and I asked Joe if he wanted to hangout after I was done. He said yes so I grabbed one of my friends and drove to his house. When we arrived, my friend had fallen asleep in the passenger seat so I went inside to apologize and head back home. But when joe opened his door, he grabbed my hand and kissed me. The rest is history!

It was the summer of my second year of Medical School. We thought that would be the last time we could take a long vacation so we decided to go to Mexico one last time. The resort was amazing! On the second to last night, I had ordered rose petals to be put in the bed as well as chocolate covered strawberries back in our room as a surprise for joe. Well, when we went back to the room, he was very surprised! And because he is very smart, he decided to take advantage of the romantic scene I created lol. He handed me what looked like a family calendar full of our pictures and I thought he was so sweet. When I opened it, it was actually a story book of our whole life together. We sat and reminisced on every adventure we had been on for a while and then on the last page there was a picture of the resort we were at and then it said: "Happily ever after?...". I looked up confused and there he was, in one knee asking me to spend the rest our lives together!
