We would love to see everyone dressed up for our special day! We kindly ask our guests to dress in elevated cocktail attire — midi or ankle length dresses or dressy separates in elegant materials for the ladies; a suit with an optional tie for the gents. There is a curated idea of formal cocktail attire on the gallery tab for inspiration! We understand the weather might be nice, but please no jeans, golf polos, or sundresses.
We have rooms blocked at the DoubleTree by Hilton in downtown Canton and transportation to and from. Please ask about the Lape Roth Wedding block and reserve by 4/24/26. There are also many Airbnb's in the Dover/New Philadelphia/Sugarcreek area within close proximity to the venue.
We will have a shuttle at the DoubleTree in downtown Canton start loading up at 3:00pm and depart at 3:30 towards the venue. The shuttle will stay and make three trips back to the hotel later in the night; 9:00pm, 10:00pm, and 11:00pm when the reception ends. Please mark ‘yes’ during the RSVP process under the shuttle question if you are using it so that we are able to accommodate everyone accordingly.
We are so looking forward to celebrating with you! Due to limited venue capacity, only children named on the invitation or on the online RSVP, such as those in the wedding party or children of immediate family members, are able to attend.
We're so excited for our wedding and want to create a truly special, present experience for everyone. To help us stay in the moment, we're asking guests to unplug and keep their phones away during the ceremony. We’ll have a professional photographer capturing all the memories, so you can just enjoy the experience with us. Once cocktail hour starts, everyone is free to take as many pictures as they’d like!
Due to venue limitations, we kindly ask that only guests named on the invitation attend.
Dinner will be the only thing taking place inside. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing will be outside, weather permitting. Keep in mind temperature might drop as the night goes on so jackets and shawls are encouraged to bring with you!
