Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Lainey Brunner and Joe Myrold
Meet the family and friends we’re so excited to have standing alongside us on one of the most special days of our lives. Each of these individuals means so much to us, and we’re incredibly grateful for them!

Lainey Brunner

Bride

Gabby Buchanan

Matron of Honor

Gabby is my sister and my very first best friend, and I feel so incredibly blessed to have a sister and a friend all in one. From childhood memories to every stage of life since, she has always been by my side with unwavering love, support, and plenty of laughter. There is truly no one who can make me laugh the way she can, and her presence makes every moment brighter. I am beyond grateful to have her standing next to me on our wedding day and so excited to have her as my Matron of Honor.

Courtney Theiler

Bridesmaid

Courtney and I first met as competitors in high school sports, but it didn’t take long for that rivalry to turn into a close friendship. Playing club volleyball together at UW–Eau Claire brought us even closer, and before we knew it, we were inseparable. She is one of the most quick-witted, genuine, and hardworking people I know, and she’s the kind of friend who will surprise you by showing up at your doorstep just because you mentioned you were having a bad day. I feel so lucky to call her one of my closest friends.

Lakyn Maki

Bridesmaid

Lakyn is the older sister I never had. We met when I was 14 and quickly became attached at the hip, sharing countless memories through basketball, track, and performing together in band, choir, and Raiderettes. We’ve been through the happiest and hardest moments of life together, and we always joked that whenever we talked to anyone in Medford, the first question was where the other one was and what she was up to. Watching Lakyn become a wife and a mother has been incredibly special, and I truly can’t imagine my wedding day without her by my side.

Bailey Harding

Bridesmaid

Bailey and I met during our senior year of high school playing club volleyball, and our friendship grew even closer when we both attended UW–Eau Claire. She is the definition of beauty, inside and out, and has an incredible way of making everyone around her feel seen and appreciated. She truly lights up every room she enters, and I’ve always said she makes everything—and everyone—around her more beautiful. I am so thankful to have her by my side on this special day.

Lakken Meredith

Bridesmaid

Lakken and I met at UW–Eau Claire playing club volleyball, and she quickly took me under her wing—building my confidence and showing what it means to be an incredible leader both on and off the court. She’s the definition of adventurous, always encouraging me with her positive attitude, energy, and her ability to see beauty in the world around her. Her hard work and thoughtfulness are unmatched—she even helped Joe plan his proposal and made our engagement in Hawaii absolutely perfect! I feel so lucky to have her by my side on this special day.

Mandi Baker

Bridesmaid

Mandi and I have been friends since high school, but we grew especially close throughout college. She was my greatest encouragement during student teaching and helped me get through the stressful parts of college with endless hot tub sessions, late-night gym workouts, and homemade steak dinners. One of the things I love most about Mandi is that she’s always up for watching The Grinch with me—no matter the month or season. I truly admire her loyalty, the way she chases her dreams, works hard, and never looks back. I am so excited to have her standing by my side on this special day.

Olivia McNeal

Bridesmaid

Olivia and I met in college while playing club volleyball—we were the only freshmen on the team and instantly clicked. From the very beginning, our friendship has been filled with the kind of laughter that leaves you in tears. Liv has a way of making everyone she loves feel like the most important person in the room, and she gives the sweetest hugs. She means so much to both Joe and me, and we are so excited to have her as part of our special day.

Cassandra Carpenter

Bridesmaid

Cass and I have been friends since high school, and we’ve shared so many amazing memories together. One of my favorites has to be running a relay with her that placed on the podium at State Track—it’s even more special knowing we were side by side for that moment. She is one of the most disciplined and devoted people I know, and also one of the funniest—she has a way of dropping a one-liner that will leave you laughing until your stomach hurts. I feel so blessed to have her by my side, and for the friendship we’ve built and cherished over the years, no matter which state life finds us in.

Nicole Guth

Bridesmaid

Nicole and I met playing club volleyball at UW–Eau Claire and through mutual friends. Joe lived with her boyfriend, Kyle, throughout college, and we definitely didn’t mind that double dates came with some extra quality girl time once Joe and I started dating. Through college and the years after, I could always count on Nicole for meaningful, genuine conversations that kept me grounded—and for plenty of laughs along the way. I’m so grateful that both she and Kyle will be standing by our sides on this special day—it feels only right, since they’ve been such a huge part of our story!

Moiraine Stokes

Flower Girl

Moiraine is my goddaughter and one of the sweetest, spunkiest little gals you could ever meet. I’ve known Moiraine since she was born, and it’s been such a joy to watch her grow into her confident, fun-loving personality over the past few years. We’re so excited she gets to play such a special—and adorable—role in our wedding!

Joe Myrold

Groom

Trenton Dahnert

Best Man

Trenton and I met through the club baseball team at UW-Eau Claire when he transferred schools in 2022. He quickly became a big part of my college friend group and one of my best friends. There is never a dull moment with Trenton and he has been a big part of many great memories over the last four years. I would say my favorite memories with Trenton would be the two years we have gone up to his grandma's house up in northern Minnesota over Memorial Day weekend and spent two days catching walleye, riding ATVs, and playing pool and darts.

Sam Myrold

Groomsman

Sam is my oldest brother and one of my biggest role models and supporters. Growing up, I always looked up to him and strived to be like him, especially in baseball and hockey. Although we can't see each other as much as we'd like, he still always takes the time to ask how Lainey and I are doing and does whatever he can in order to support us and we are so grateful that he is able to be a part of Lainey and I's wedding day.

Luke Myrold

Groomsman

Luke is my other older brother and just like Sam, I have always looked up to him, especially now as we get older. He inspires me to strive for better, both personally and professionally. Some of my favorite memories have been being able to visit him in all the different places that he has lived around the country, especially when Lainey and I were able to spend New Year's Eve with him and Janet in NYC. I feel blessed to have been a part of his and Janet's big day and Lainey and I are excited that he can be a part of ours.

Cole Jahnke

Groomsman

Cole was one of my three college roommates at UW-Eau Claire and has been one of my best friends since we first met at school in 2018. We quickly bonded over our love for the Minnesota Wild, golf (although he is an actual golfer, unlike me), and going to Ray's on a winter night. Many of my best college memories involve the time we have spent in the beer garden watching UWEC hockey games or going to Dooley's to watch the Wild. I have always been able to count on Cole no matter what and feel very blessed to call him one of my closest friends over the last eight years.

Kyle Loose

Groomsman

Kyle was another one of my college roommates and we have been friends since the moment we stepped on campus eight years ago. My favorite memory is from the very first night at UWEC. If you know Kyle, you know how personable and outgoing he is. During our first dinner at the dining hall near the dorms, I could feel someone looking at me from across the table and when I looked up, all Kyle said was, "Hi, I'm Kyle!" and the rest is history. He helped break me out of my shell and I can confidently say that he is one of the biggest reasons that college was such a positive experience for me.

Reece Randerson

Groomsman

Reece was the third of my college roommates and just like Cole and Kyle, has been one of my best friends since I got to Eau Claire. Reece knows how to bring the party to wherever he is at any time. His energy is contagious and you can't help but have a good time when he is around. Although I don't get to see Reece as much anymore (thanks, Nashville), we still talk every week and catch up about life and how much the Brewers frustrate us. Lainey and I are very blessed to have him be a part of this special day and we couldn't imagine it without him.

Will Owen

Groomsman

Will is one of my closest friends and a part of my larger high school friend group, including Andre and Mohamed (listed below). Out of my entire wedding party, I have known and been friends with Will the longest. We first met during our days playing hockey for the Elmbrook Eagles and playing little league baseball together at Mitchell Park in Brookfield. My favorite times with Will have been the countless summer nights spent riding our bikes around our neighborhood and across Brookfield, hanging out at St. Dominic Days, or just hanging out playing Call of Duty in his parent's basement. I feel very blessed that Will can be a part of Lainey and I's wedding day and I cannot imagine it without him.

Andre Wangard

Groomsman

Just like Will, Andre has been one of my best friends for close to 15 years now. We first became friends when we met in fifth grade at Burleigh Elementary. I remember the first time I ever hung out at his house was on February 6, 2011; the same night the Packer's won the Super Bowl. I will always cherish this memory due to Andre unfortunately being a Vikings fan! Regardless of that, Andre has always been one of my biggest supporter's and is truly the type of friend that will reach out to you at any time and genuinely care about how life has been going. Although we don't get to see each other as often as we would like, he will still always be one of my closest friends.

Mohamed Nasef

Groomsman

Mohamed, just like Will and Andre, has been another one of my closest childhood friends. The first time I ever met Mohamed was all the way back in Kindergarten as we stood next to each other for our first ever class picture at Burleigh, a picture that is fun to look back at and reminisce. Undoubtedly my favorite memory with Mohamed was when him and I (as well as Will and another friend) went to London at the beginning of 2025. It was my first time out of the country and luckily Mohamed knew exactly where to go since he had been there previously. It was an awesome week of exploring the city, seeing my first live Premier League game, and visiting Buckingham Palace. We are so happy that Mohamed is able to join us for our wedding day!

Jake Brunner

Groomsman

Jake is Lainey’s brother, and we’re so happy he can be part of our special day! It’s been so fun getting to know him through family cabin weekends and visits to the hunting shack. We also loved celebrating alongside him and his wife, Kiersten, at their wedding this past July—it made it all the more special to share in that season together.

Ari Stokes

Ring Bearer

When I started nannying for the Stokes family, Ari was the “baby” of the family. We had so many fun summers together swimming, skateboarding, and making what felt like an endless supply of PB&Js. Ari has always been full of energy, creativity, and charm—and he’s just as smart and sweet as he is fun. We’re so excited to have him steal the spotlight as our ring bearer!

Wyatt Weiler

Usher

Wyatt is Bailey’s fiancé, and I’ve known him just as long as I’ve known Bailey—they truly come as the perfect pair. Wyatt has always been such a kind and genuine friend, and he never fails to make us laugh. We’re so thankful to have them both standing by our side on this special day.

Nathan Buchanan

Usher

Nate is Gabby’s husband, and our family has known him since he was in elementary school! He’s not only a wonderful addition to our family, but also one of our closest friends. We’re so grateful for his kind heart and feel especially honored to have him standing alongside us on this special day, after having the chance to do the same for him and Gabby at their wedding this past June.

James Stokes

Officiant

James and his wife Katie are some of our closest friends, role models, and confidants. James has continually encouraged us in faith, in building a godly marriage, and in future parenting. We’re so grateful for the meaningful conversations we’ve shared with both James and Katie, and for their unwavering guidance, encouragement, love, and willingness to speak truth. We also deeply admire James’s creativity and the way his dreams know no bounds. It feels so fitting that a friend who has poured so much love, wisdom, and inspiration into our lives will be leading a heartfelt service for us and our guest.
