I met Joe when I was working as a medical assistant taking care of his next door neighbor, Sylvester. One of my best friends and bridesmaids, Caitlin Flinny, introduced me to Syl when she heard he was looking for help staying out of the hospital and living at home. As the good-natured person that he is, Joe helped his neighbor Syl out with taking care of his chickens. He stopped by everyday to feed him. So pretty much 3 to 4 days a week I would Joe at some point or another throughout the day. We spent a lot of time together and became really good friends. It turned out we both were huge music buffs. It was hard to stop talking with him and I found myself more and more wondering the next time I would seem him pass by Syl's. I think the more we got to know about each other the more we learned we had in common. We eventually crossed that line from being friends to undoubtedly falling in love. <3
