By Air JetBlue provides seasonal service from Boston (BOS), New York City (LGA & JFK), Washington National (DCA) and Westchester County (HPN) to Nantucket (ACK). American Airlines provides seasonal service from New York City (LGA), Philadelphia (PHL) and Washington-National (DCA) to Nantucket (ACK) Delta Airlines provides seasonal service from New York City (LGA & JFK) to Nantucket (ACK) United Airlines provides seasonal service from Newark (EWR) to Nantucket (ACK) By Sea We recommend traveling to Nantucket via Sea without your vehicle. You can travel to Nantucket by Sea from Hyannis, MA with either The Steamship Authority or Hy-Line Cruises. Both the Steamship & Hy-Line provide multiple trips daily via their high-speed passenger ferries getting you to the island in only an hour! Additionally, they provide on site or easily accessible (via a free provided shuttle) parking lots for your vehicles. You can also travel to Nantucket by Sea from New Bedford, MA via Seastreak but there is limited service available out of New Bedford. Reservations are required for all ferry services. As a guest; the Wauwinet Shuttle does trips in and out of town every hour. They also pick up at the Boat Basin for the Hyline Ferry. They do not pick up at Steamship. Taxi Services Reserving a taxi prior to arriving on the island, particularly if taking a Steamship Authority ferry, is highly recommended.
