Like all great modern love stories, ours began with Hinge. Julie liked Joe’s picture (a bold move, some might say) and Joe, clearly impressed, responded. What followed was a thrilling, suspense filled game of digital ping pong that lasted two whole months before Joe finally asked her out. Call it patience, call it persistence, or maybe a quiet competition to see who would ghost first, but against all odds, neither of us blinked. Eventually, texts turned into a real life first date that lasted so long, we literally closed down the restaurant. Whether it was the great conversation, the undeniable connection, or Julie’s refusal to let dessert go uneaten...we’re still not sure...but something clicked that evening. Since then, we’ve spent the last year growing together, sharing our love of cooking, spending time with the people we love most, and enjoying the simple joy of just being with each other. We’re so excited to start this next chapter together, and even more excited to celebrate it with all of you!
