Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

Milan and Rome airports typically offer direct international flights, whereas Florence and Pisa are the closest to Lucca (less than 1 hour by car). We have included details on taxi, train, and car rental services on the "Travel & Accommodations" page.

How can we access the wedding venue?

Answer

Depending on which airport you're flying into, we have provided details on how to access the venue on the "Travel and Accommodations" page. We will be providing transportation to and from the venue on the wedding day for those staying in the vicinity of the villas listed on the "Travel & Accommodations" page or in Lucca. On other days, we have provided a list of Lucca taxi services for those who will not be renting a car. The Casale de' Pasquinelli team is happy to support with booking transportation if needed.

What events will be happening?

Answer

We are excited to be hosting 3 days of events to make sure we're making the most of our time together in Italy! The itinerary will consist of a Welcome Pizza Party, day activity on the 2nd (either a pool party or winery visit, to be confirmed), Rehearsal Dinner (note: this is the only event that will be limited to the wedding party and immediate families), and the Wedding Day. When do the events begin and end?

Answer

The wedding events begin at 8pm on July 1 and end at 1am on July 4! For those staying at the venue, breakfast will be provided the morning of July 4 before checkout at 10am, but there are no official wedding activities on this day. More details are included on the "Itinerary" page.

Which events will be covered by the bride and groom?

Answer

We are very happy to be covering all events listed on the "Itinerary" page for our guests, includng: Welcome Dinner, Rehearsal Dinner, Pool Party, and Reception Dinner. For guests staying at the venue, breakfast will be provided each morning. We will also be covering transportation to and from the venue on the wedding day (July 3).

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have limited spaces available at the venue and will be reaching out to those staying at Casale de' Pasquinelli by August 1, 2026. Otherwise, there are many great hotels, villas, and Airbnbs available nearby and in the town of Lucca, which is 20 minutes away by car. See a few accommodation options on the "Travel and Accommodations" page. Note: when booking in the area, please mention that you'll be a guest of Casale de' Pasquinelli and they may be more flexible with check in/check out days.
