Jackie and her friend Hannah planned a trip to Iceland in the summer of 2019. Hannah bailed, so Jackie invited her brother, Brian, to come instead. Brian in turn asked his friend Joe to go, who quit his job to make the trip (he was already out of vacation time for the year). After a fantastic trip, Joe continued to reach out to Jackie, who was often slow to respond as she was moving from Philadelphia to Denver and not interested in a long-distance relationship. Nevertheless, Joe persisted and eventually visited Jackie in Denver under the pretense of hanging out with his brother, Jimmy (who also lived in CO). Both had a wonderful time. Jackie moved to Chattanooga 6 months later and the rest is history!
