Question
Are the ceremony and reception at the same place?
Answer
Yes, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held at the Salisbury House and Gardens.
Question
Will the wedding be outside?
Answer
Yes. Weather permitting, all events will be held outdoors. Guests will be able to tour the Salisbury House during cocktail hour, and the reception dinner will be held under a tent in the east terrace.

What is the wedding dress code?
Answer
Recommended attire is semi-formal/cocktail. This could include suits or slacks/dress shirt for men and cocktail/midi length dresses or dressy separates for ladies. When selecting your attire + footwear, please keep in mind that events will be outdoors in August and on grass :)

Can I park at the venue?
Answer
Yes, but parking capacity at Salisbury House is limited, so we encourage car pooling and rideshare options such as Uber/Lyft where possible. There are about 70 parking spots on the Salisbury House grounds + additional street parking on Tonawanda Drive. There will be a shuttle bus available in the evening for transportation back to the downtown hotels!

Is there a shuttle available after the wedding?
Answer
Yes! We have arranged a party bus to provide transportation back to the downtown hotels beginning after dinner. The bus will also transport the wedding party and guests to the after party at Hello, Marjorie after the reception concludes!

Where should we stay?
Answer
We have reserved hotel room blocks with discounted rates at the downtown Marriott, Hilton, and Hotel Fort Des Moines. All are great options- please see the Travel tab for more information. Room blocks will close on July 25th or when full.

Are kids invited?
Answer
Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate the guests specifically named on your invitation and/or listed under the online RSVP form.

What is the RSVP deadline?
Answer
Kindly let us know if you can make it by submitting your online RSVP on or before July 7, 2025.
