If you are in town for a day or 2 extra (or more), below are some ideas for activities. Note, we have not been to these places so they are not so much recommendations as they are, 'we did some Google searching and made a list'.

The Metro North New Haven line will take you from New Rochelle to Grand Central in under an hour for about $9pp (off peak).

Manhattan

There is a lot to do right in town near the hotel. Food, bars, movie theater, shops and much more. A few options are listed below.

Bananas' Axe Cabana - New Rochelle, NY

The Metro North Line runs from New Rochelle (~10 minute walk to the hotel) to the Bronx.

Yankees Stadium

This is a nice town to the north of New Rochelle with a good restaurant scene.
