Things To Do

Explore: Canalside

44 Prime Street, Buffalo, NY 14202

Canalside is a great place to explore the Buffalo waterfront! It's close to all the hotels, especially the Courtyard. Stop by to walk along the boardwalk, hang out on the lawn, ride the carousel, and explore the naval and military park.

Explore: Delaware Park

Buffalo, NY

The main loop of the park passes the Buffalo Zoo, specifically the bison enclosure (see a buffalo in Buffalo)! You can also visit Hoyt Lake, eat at The Terrace, and explore the walking paths.

Explore: Elmwood Avenue

Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo, NY

The Elmwood Village is full of cute shops and places to eat.

Explore: Allentown Sign

Corner of Main St and Allen St, Buffalo, NY 14202

Emily imagines all guests will want to stop here for a picture. IYKYK.

Explore: Frank Lloyd Wright's Martin House

125 Jewett Parkway, Buffalo, NY 14214

Buffalo is full of cool architecture and this is a prime spot.

Explore: Niagara Falls State Park

332 Prospect Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14303

Home to Mary Hoffman's favorite guest recommendation, Maid of the Mist, Niagara Falls is full of things to do. You can visit Cave of the Winds and walk up the falls or stop at the Observation Tower for a more traditional view of the falls. There are also a lot of great hiking trails. If you're thinking about hanging out in the actual town, consider bringing your passport. Niagara Falls Canada > Niagara Falls America.

Explore: Burchfield Penney Art Center

1300 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14222

The Albright-Knox Art Gallery is currently closed for renovations but the Burchfield Penney right across the street is a great place to get your art fix.

Explore: Buffalo Bisons Baseball

1 James D Griffin Plaza, Buffalo, NY 14203

For the minor league baseball fan in all of us - the Bisons will be hosting the Iowa Cubs April 7-10.

Eat: Duff's Famous Wings

3651 Sheridan Drive, Amherst, NY 14226

You are a Duff's person or an Anchor Bar person. We are Duff's people.

Eat: Anderson's Frozen Custard

2235 Sheridan Drive, Kenmore, NY 14223

If you party so hard at the wedding and you only have the energy for one thing, do yourself a favor and get a twist with sprinkles.

Eat: Ted's Hot Dogs

124 West Chippewa Street, Buffalo, NY 14202

Buffalo hotdogs are different from other hotdogs. If you're a hotdog person, you should really consider stopping by to expand your palate.

Eat: Gabriel's Gate

145 Allen Street, Buffalo, NY 14201

If you can't make it to Duff's for wings, this is a good downtown option.

Eat: Jim's Steakout

92 West Chippewa Street, Buffalo, NY 14202

This is 100% where you should end your Saturday night. Open until 2 am.
