Devon started out by volunteering in Joe's classroom. Neither of us liked the other very much at first....Joe thought Devon was one of a dozen selfish, uncaring college students using his classroom to pad her resume....Devon thought Joe was brash, rude, and generally an all-around jerk. However, the more we worked together, the more we realized that our first impressions were wrong and we had began to see each other in more positive lights. Eventually, we started to care deeply for one another and now we can't imagine being with anyone else.

The day started with us excited to hike....then we tried to hike the WORST trail we've EVER been on (some pics in the photo tab of the "trail"). After fighting though brambles and branches, climbing over tree trunks, crawling under fallen trees we finally made it though (bruised and bleeding). After cleaning up, we went to a (nearly) deserted beach at sunset....and she said YES!
