We first met back in 1987 during our years at League City Intermediate. Two kids from different elementary schools that came together and became friends. We both crushed on each other but never said anything to the other. During High School we went separate routes. She went the new wave route and I went the sports route. Even though we were on separate paths there was still chemistry in the air every time we were around each other. After High School we continued on our paths, started families, and lived life to the fullest. We would run into each other from time to time. Each brief encounter was, shall we say interesting. Let's just say the chemistry seemed to still be there. Enter Facebook... After seeing her picture and her smile, I knew that I had to reach out. I couldn't let the feeling I had inside go. Something kept telling me to reach out. So I did. After all the years of ups and downs, after all the break ups, whiskey, beer, smokey bars, you name it. After all the years we reconnected. We talked through text and facebook for a month. After all the years we finally met again face to face. The chemistry was still there. We watched the Astros, drank beer, laughed and enjoyed every second we had together. We are still doing that today.
