What is the attire for the wedding day?

Answer

Summer Formal! For gals: cocktail dresses, fancy jumpers and longer dresses are all appropriate. For guys: Lightweight suits. Colors and prints encouraged for all!

Although we love your kids, this party will only be appropriate for adults. Thank you for your understanding!

How do we travel outside of Sunriver? How do I get to Downtown Bend?

Answer

Downtown Bend is just 20 minutes South of Sunriver. Uber/Lyft should be available for travel into Bend or anywhere else. You can also call Laura and Dave from Sunriver Towncar at 541-706-0626. They have an assortment of large SUVs and a 14 person Shuttle Van available for reasonable rates.

How do we get around Sunriver?

Answer

1) Sunriver Resort's 24/7 shuttle service- available only if you book through Sunriver Resort. 2) Bikes- There are bike paths everywhere and during summer, this is how most people get around! A lot of the homes/condos come with bikes. There is also a bike rental shop right on property for reasonable daily/weekly rates. We highly encourage grabbing a bike for the weekend! 3) By foot- All Lodge Rooms and most Condos are walking distance to the Main Lodge, Restaurants and Sunriver Village. Before you book your accommodation, ask the Reservations team how far a walk it is to everything!

How do we book accommodations?

Answer

Please call Sunriver Reservations at 800-547-3922. Press 2 for Reservations, Press 2 again for Group Reservations. Let them know you are booking for the Preston- Stassi Wedding. You can book a Lodge Room, Condo or House (virtually anything on Sunriver's 3300 Acre Property) through this reservation service.

What are the accommodation options?

Answer

1) Lodge Room at the Main Lodge/Hotel- We have a very limited room block on "Village Lodge Rooms". You can also upgrade to a River Lodge Room for an additional fee. The River Lodge Rooms are more updated, slightly larger and situated right along the Deschutes so have very pretty views. They are also a stones throw to the Great Hall where we are getting married! 2) Condo- there are a ton of 2-3 bedroom Condos on property! The "Tennis Village" and "Wildflower" Condos are the most central/ walking distance to everything. These are a great option if you want to stay with family/ friends while still being in the heart of the action! 3) Home at Sunriver or Caldera- Sunriver Resort manages hundreds of houses on property. You can stay in Sunriver proper or at their new development, Caldera Springs, which is a 5 minute shuttle or 10 minute bike ride to Sunriver Resort. Please keep in mind, homes have a min night commitment of 4 nights for a 4 Bedroom and 5 nights for a 5 Bedroom home.

Why is it important to book accommodations over the phone and not online?

Answer

Sunriver is old school and requires you call them to book in order to receive the wedding room block rate! Calling and booking directly through the reservation line also ensures you will have access to Sunriver's free 24/7 shuttle all weekend! We were in Sunriver over New Years and the shuttle service is incredibly convenient. Don't want to walk in high heels to the Great Hall on the Wedding Day? Want a lift to the Marina for the River Float on Saturday? They've go you covered. You just call 15 minutes before and they will pick you up/take you anywhere on property FO FREE.

Which airport do we fly into?

Answer

Redmond (RDM) is a 40 minute drive to Sunriver. There are nonstop flights to RDM from LA and SF. Alternatively, Portland International Airport (PDX) offers nonstop options from many cities. However, Portland is about a 3.5 hour drive to Sunriver.
