We first met on the night of July 21st, 2012, a night we will never forget. We met at a wedding. Brooke's cousin was the groom, and Joe's second cousin was the bride. Brooke saw Joe walk across the room when she was in the hall sitting with her family. She remembers whispering to her sister, " Hey look at that cute guy who just walked in." After she had first laid eyes on him, she knew she had to build up the courage to talk to him. After a few hours of her sister begging her to go up to him, she finally caved and found him in the reception hall sitting at a table across the room. She walked right up to him, tapped him on the shoulder and said, " Hey, I'm Brooke, What's your name?" After that they then exchanged numbers and started talking. They spent the whole night dancing the way all teenagers do that age, (awkwardly). Brooke knew there was something special about that boy, she just didn't know how special he'd end up being to her. The day after the wedding, Brooke received a text first thing in the morning from Joe. She was so excited to see that he was actually into her. After a few weeks of texting, and hanging out, He asked her to be his girlfriend on August 3rd, 2012. And after that, the rest is history. Now flash forward 6 years and counting of dating, we both couldn't be happier. We are each other's best friends, and are excited to be taking this next step in our relationship. Our wedding day is on a very special day, our anniversary. On August 3rd, 2019, we will say "I DO," exactly seven years from when we first started dating. We cannot wait to start this new adventure together as husband and wife. We hope that you will join us in this celebration of our love.
