Together is a beautiful place to be.

We met on that first fateful day of choir practice at Truman State University and it was love-at-first-sight. We shared longing looks and butterflies in our stomachs and started to sit at the same lunch table after choir practice every day. Of course, we were head-over-heels for each other... but we are also both very awkward, introverted human beings, so how were we supposed to profess our love for each other?! Then everything changed after Joe boldly asked in front of all of our friends at the lunch table if I would hang out with him after class and share a smoothie with him. And of course, I stuttered with excitement and said yes. And the rest is history!

Joe graduated from Truman State University in 2019 with a B.A. in General Music. He's originally from Hanover Park, IL, a northwest suburb of Chicago. Joe is currently living with his beautiful fiancée, Brie, in their apartment in Iowa City, IA. He works as a Banker at a local bank called Hills Bank and a guitar teacher at a local studio. He also records and writes music on the side and produces albums with his jazz group, 2% Jazz (check them out on Spotify!). He aims to make a career focused on creating, recording, and producing his own music. Joe enjoys video games, dad jokes, and the Beatles. He is a jack-of-all-trades and is always looking to learn about new hobbies. Brie loves Joe for his sensitive, loyal heart the most. He is looking forward to seeing everyone at the wedding!

Brienna (Brie) graduated from Truman State University with a B.A. in General Music in 2021. She is originally from Monroe City, MO, a small farm town near Hannibal. Brie lives with her goofy fiancé, Joe, in their apartment in Iowa City, IA. She is currently working as a lead teacher at Regina Early Childhood Center, a Catholic preschool. Brie does not know what she wants to do in the future but is confident that she's in good hands and will go wherever the Universe takes her. She loves animals (most of all her cat, Rosie) and kids. Brie also enjoys nature, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family. She loves to cook for other people, learn about different religions, and play video games. Joe loves Brie's kind, gentle soul the most. She's looking forward to living the married life with Joe!
