We are getting married!

Like all great modern love stories, ours began with… a swipe. We were both this close to deleting our dating apps for good, but decided to give it one last shot. And with one mutual right swipe on Bumble—boom—everything changed. Our first date? Total rom-com vibes: a cozy patio, a crackling fireplace, shared pizza, and two people who instantly clicked. We talked for hours, completely lost in each other. The best part? The servers totally knew. They could definitely tell we were in our own little world—so much so that they never even reminded us of the time. Eventually, we realized the restaurant had closed around us. No music, no other tables, just us… and maybe a few very patient staff members quietly rooting for the love story unfolding. Was it love at first sight? Maybe. Was it love by the last slice of pizza? 100%.

In the summer of 2022, we took the next big step: moving in together. Brenna officially joined Joe in the apartment he shared with his best friend, Keenan—turning a bachelor pad into a slightly more organized (and way more candle-scented) home. There were definitely a few adjustments—like learning each other’s routines and figuring out the unspoken rules of cohabiting. Brenna quickly discovered that Joe will gladly do the dishes every time (seriously, every time)... but folding laundry? That’s his arch-nemesis. We laughed a lot, found a rhythm, and turned that little apartment into a space full of love, late-night talks, and takeout nights on the couch. Living together just confirmed what we already knew: we make a pretty great team.

On a quiet date night in Kendall Yards, Joe got down on one knee by the river—under a canopy of stars and twinkling lights. It was private, sweet, and so perfectly us. Before the big moment, we shared a romantic dinner by the river, enjoying the view, the conversation… and Joe trying very hard to act normal while secretly sweating bullets. Just the two of us, wrapped in the kind of moment you never forget. When the time came, he pulled out the ring, popped the question, and Brenna said yes without hesitation. It was a night full of love, happy tears, and the start of forever.

We’re getting married on Friday, February 6th, 2026 at the beautiful Commellini Estate—and we couldn’t be more excited! We feel so lucky to be surrounded by our favorite people as we begin this next chapter together.
