Joe and Becca started talking on Memorial Day and had been planning on meeting for a first date that coming weekend. After texting for a couple days, they just couldn't wait until the weekend and decided to meet for an impromptu date in the middle of the week. Becca suggested that they meet at a lake nearby for a bike ride, and if it went well, dinner at a local pub afterwards. Joe thought it was funny that Becca had bought a size small bike for herself not realizing that bikes had sizes. He graciously let Becca ride his bike for a bit during the date, and Becca discovered that she needed a new bike to better fit her tall frame. Becca thought Joe was kind, respectful, funny, and interesting, so she agreed to getting dinner after they finished biking around the lake. They enjoyed burgers and beer and talked for several more hours before deciding they needed to schedule a second date, and then they just never stopped dating after that. Eventually, Joe bought Becca a new bike that actually fit her :)
