Many of you know that Joe and Becah met in college at the University of Maryland when they pledged Alpha Phi Omega in the Fall of 1991. Joe says he had a little crush on Becah, but she was dating someone else. We both graduated and went our separate ways. - Joe got married and had two great kids, Alex and Maddie. - Becah moved to Georgia. Fast forward to 2019 They started chatting online. Joe wanted to know what Bec was up to. After several months of silly pun contest texts, Joe traveled down to GA to visit Becah for her birthday in October. ...and then again in November. ...and then Bec went up to Baltimore for the New Year. Then COVID. That visit led to many Fridays watching LivePD together over the phone. When things opened back up, Joe ended up doing a lot of driving back and forth from MD to GA on a monthly basis in his trusty Civic. The proposal happened on August 1, 2022 on the beach in Rehoboth, Delaware. Ok, that's what was supposed to have happened. It ended up happening in his apartment later that evening when the engagement ring finally arrived. Joe moved to Georgia in 2023 and his car couldn't have been happier.
