Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Hotels -- and generally, places to stay -- can be pricey in Santa Barbara area, and therefore we recommend booking hotel rooms early if you intend on attending the wedding. We do have some recommendations for hotels that friends and family have stayed in when they have visited Santa Barbara area in the past: Ramada by Wyndham, Holiday Inn and Suites (in Carpinteria), and various boutique inns near West Beach (e.g., Casa Del Mar Inn, West Beach Inn, and Franciscan Inn and Suites). We also recommend looking into AirBnB or VRBO rentals as alternative options to hotels, especially for those intending to travel and explore Santa Barbara as a larger group.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no strict dress code for our wedding, although we would appreciate anyone who wears outfits with botanical accents! Otherwise, we advise against thin heels due to uneven ground and we advise people to bring clothes that will keep them warm after the sun sets. For those looking for more direction regarding their dress code, consider semi-formal attire.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking in Eling's Park nearest to Godric's Grove for the ceremony/reception!

Can I bring an extra guest to the wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that extra guests do not attend the wedding or reception. We are striving to have a relatively small wedding, and seating and catering will be only be available for the number of guests we invite.
