Is there a dress code?

Answer

Sort of; we have listed cocktail attire as a guide. But more importantly we want our guests to be comfortable, so please dress as formal (or not formal) as you would like.

While we love your kids, we would like our party to be adult-only. Please leave your kids at home.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, absolutely. If you have an allergy for which you need accommodations for dinner, please reach out to Joe or Amy and we will ensure you will have something to eat.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No. Since our room blocks are either at the wedding venue or within walking distance, there will not be additional transportation provided.

Question

I am flying to Chicago, what is the best way to get to the venue?

Answer

Both O’Hare and Midway Airports have multiple transportation options. Uber/Lyft and Taxi are both available at each airport. Additionally, you can use public transportation, taking Chicago’s “L” trains downtown directly from each airport (“L” is slang for Elevated Train, since most of Chicago’s train lines are above ground). Midway -> Orange Line to the Washington/Wabash stop (approx. 33 minute ride) O’Hare -> Blue Line to the Washington stop (approx. 41 minute ride) **Note: there is only one L line heading one direction at each airport, so it is impossible to get on the wrong train.
