We're excited to celebrate with you!

I (Amy) attended a pig roast with a friend, Karen. The pig roast was held at Joe's previous place of employment. Joe sat at our table and struck up a conversation with me and Karen. We ended up shutting down the pig roast, Karen and I were the last ones to leave, and the staff had started cleaning up! We parted ways that night without exchanging information, but one of Joe's coworkers was persistent and gave Joe my number. In early August, 2017, Joe called me and asked if I would meet with him to talk about one of his advisors (who was helping me set up a college savings plan for Corinne, and was also the one who gave him my #!). We met for lunch on August 11, 2017...to "talk about that advisor"....but, oddly enough, his name never came up one time! :) At the end of that lunch, Joe asked me to go on a date...and our first "official" date was the very next day...August 12, 2017. And here we are today...preparing for our wedding and excited to spend the rest of our lives together. We've both had our share of ups and downs and various paths in life that took us on separate journeys, but those journeys shaped us into the people we are today and I know we met exactly when we were meant to. I'm looking forward to building a life together, and I'm so glad that each of you are part of it!!!
