We're getting married!

Amanda taught Joe's youngest sister, Marissa, for three years in high school (2017-2020). When Amanda moved back to Indiana in 2023, she ran into Marissa when she was working at Planet Fitness. While catching up on life, Marissa mentioned that her brother was close to Amanda's age and was single. Amanda joked and said "it would be funny if we met on a dating app since we live in the same area." Marissa went home and talked to Joe about Amanda, and then texted Amanda asking if she could give Joe her number (and mentioned that Amanda could say no if that was too awkward, haha). Amanda said yes, and they started texting right away. A few days later, Amanda and Joe went on their first date at Red Robin, and then the rest became history! :)
