The dress code is summer festive cocktail attire. Think cocktail attire with a fun, seasonal twist! We invite you to dress semi-formally, while embracing the spirit of summer—vibrant colors, playful patterns, and breathable fabrics are all welcome. For women: cocktail dresses, midi dresses, or stylish jumpsuits in summery hues. For men: dress pants or suits with a button-down or lightweight blazer—ties are welcome but not required. Feel free to have fun with it! We’d love to see your personality shine—elegant, celebratory, and ready to dance. If you'd like a little color guidance, our wedding colors include sage green, lilac/lavender, champagne, gold, and other soft greens and purples. You’re welcome to draw from these shades, but it’s absolutely not required!

Yes, free parking is available on-site at House Mountain Inn. That being said, we will have shuttles running to and from the hotels in Lexington regularly and would appreciate planning to make use of those, as we will be somewhat limited in terms of space at House Mountain. Shuttles will be available to return trips at regular intervals and as needed during and after the reception.
Expect warm weather—usually in the upper 80s during the day. We will be in the mountains, which means it can cool off in the evening, so a light layer is a good idea.
