FAQs

In case you were wondering.
Question

"When is the RSVP deadline?"

Answer

Please RSVP by September 2nd. We invite you to RSVP online here [insert link].

Question

"What is the attire for the wedding?"

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal. Think suit and tie for the gentlemen, while ladies can opt for a floor-length gown or formal cocktail dress. Since the ceremony will be outdoors, we recommend flat-soled shoes, chunky heels or wedges to avoid sinking into the grass. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!

Question

"Can I bring my kid(s)?"

Answer

First, we love your kid(s) - they're really great! But we want our celebration to also be your night off. If your children were included on your invitation (immediate family and wedding party), they are more than welcome – but we can't promise the events (and behaviors of other guests) will be kid-friendly after a certain hour... let's say 9:00pm.

Question

"Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?"

Answer

Due to the space limitations of our venue, we unfortunately have to limit the rehearsal dinner guest list to those who will be playing a role in the ceremony. We apologize in advance to those who are not included.

Question

"Are pictures allowed during the wedding ceremony?"

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this time.

Question

"What happens after the ceremony?"

Answer

After the ceremony, our families and the wedding party will be taking pictures for around an hour. A cocktail hour will occur on the lawn, where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

Question

"Will transportation be provided to the wedding venue?"

Answer

Unfortunately not. With guests staying in several different hotels, providing a bus to the venue from a single or multiple locations would inevitably lead to inconveniences for everyone involved. If renting a car is not an option, our suggestion would be to Uber/Lyft to the Town & Country Club, and allow yourself plenty of time in case traffic is bad (it is Friday afternoon after all).

Question

"I'm driving to the wedding. Is there parking?"

Answer

Yes. There is plenty of parking at the Town & Country Club. If you plan on really enjoying yourself, feel free to leave your car overnight and Uber/Lyft home. But make sure you retrieve your car early Saturday morning as there is another wedding that day.

Question

"Since the wedding is outdoors, should I be concerned about the weather?"

Answer

Yes. It's early October in Minneapolis so the weather can vary A LOT. The average temperature is 65 degrees (fingers crossed), but it could be 80 degrees, or it could snow. Keep an eye on the weather as the date approaches.
