We’re getting married!

Joe and Brittany met in grade school. They dated in Mr. Johnson’s 5th grade class but the romance didn’t last long. Joe was too wild for Brittany, jumping off the highest point on the jungle gym, so she broke it off. Flash forward to Junior year of High School. Brittany was no longer the tallest in the class, Joe was no longer one of the shortest 😉 and the connection was back! They conquered a long distance relationship when Brittany went to college at MSU, an even longer distance relationship when she studied abroad in Australia (only four months!) and also living (and still loving it!) together. On September 3rd, 2018 Joe asked Brittany to be his wife. They cannot wait to continue to make new memories together for the rest of their lives!

Joe and Brittany traveled to Europe September 2018 for two weeks! They traveled to Venice, Italy and basically all of Croatia. When visiting Rovinj, Stria-Croatia Brittany and Joe were in awe at the beautiful city. The place just felt magical! September 3rd, 2018 was a perfect and even more magical day. They rented a car and traveled inland to explore some other beautiful cities. They first visited Buzet, which is otherwise known as the Town of Truffles. Brittany is kind of, absolutely obsessed with truffles so needless to say she was ecstatic! They also visited Motovun which was a beautiful town on top of a hill where they enjoyed a fantastic, truffle filled lunch. Then Joe wanted to head back to Rovinj to have dinner and to watch the sunset at the beach. They enjoyed a lovely Croatian meal with amazing wine. When they finished their meal Brittany and Joe rushed to the beach to enjoy the sunset. As they were admiring the beautiful views, Joe felt this was the perfect moment for him to ask a special question that he’s been wanting to ask for a very long time. He got down on one knee and asked Brittany to be his wife. She said YES!!
