I only see one venue listed for the wedding day, is that right?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at Sea Cliff Manor.

Question

Are my kids invited to the wedding?

Answer

We had to give this one a lot of thought. We are not going with a strictly child-free wedding (We love kids! Kids are a blast at a party!), but our venue does have a pretty hard and fast capacity cap and at the end of the day we could not invite all the kids of every adult we want to have at our wedding. In general, if your save-the-date/invite does not say "Family" then only the adults it's addressed to are invited to the wedding.

Question

Follow-up - if my partner and I are invited and they can't come, can I bring one of our kids in their place?

Answer

We would love that! Like we said, this is not about excluding kids, this is about cold hard numbers and the physical limitations of our venue. Our only request is that if you and your partner are both unavailable, please do not send your kids alone in your place - we would all do well to heed the cautionary tale of Home Alone 2: Lost in New York!
