We both got into the same Contemporary Musical Theatre singing group in college (along with bridesmaid Kristen and groomsman Luke). No one else wanted to hang out after the first rehearsal, so Joe and I hung out alone, and pretty instantaneously, we became best friends. It felt like we'd known each other forever. We were best friends for a year, we were "special friends" for a number of years after that, and at some point (that neither of us can remember), the "I love you's" we always said as friends morphed into something deeper and more powerful. Our "special friendship" became a partnership. As the years went by, we became family, and our families became family. And after 12 years, we've decided to go ahead and make it legal! We're so grateful to everyone who's been part of our journey and wants to help us celebrate our love!
Dating back to the late 1740s, Blenheim has a fascinating history and was the site of raids and skirmishes during the American Revolution. After lying dormant since the 1970s, the 150 acre farm was restored by New York City restauranteurs who have revitalized the property. Now home to a hydroponic greenhouse, rare and heritage animal breeds, and honey beehives, the sustainable farm provides all of the ingredients that you will enjoy on our wedding night!
