Do you have more information about ferries?

Answer

The Ferry from Victoria (Swartz Bay) to Pender runs more frequently, and takes about 15-20 minutes. Our venue is a 5 minute walk from the ferry, just a few doors down! The ferry from Vancouver to Pender runs a little less frequently, but is relatively simple by taking an island hopping ferry which will stop and let people off at Galliano and Mayne island prior to Pender. Depending on your sailing, and if you're staying close-by. You could have the option of walking on and walking up to the venue or your accommodation. Can i bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately with the property maximum of 50, we're unable to accommodate your partners as well, as much as we love them! Though we look forward to an intimate ceremony, and to celebrate with your loved one before or after the wedding weekend!

Answer

Although we adore our people's children, our celebration will be adults only due to capacity restrictions.

They're welcome to join us for the hangover, though for the celebration we request just you!

What about transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

We've organized a shuttle with pickups at Port Browning Marina, and the main Village departing around 2PM, with return shuttles departing at 10PM and 1AM We'll confirm exact times closer to, please let us know if you require a pickup at a further distance.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We love colour! We'd love our ladies to dress in their favourite garden colour, and all to come dressed to impress with formal attire. No shorts recommended for men, sorry guys!

Will your wedding be indoors?

Answer

Our wedding will take place entirely outside, until we move the party inside for the house party at the island sound curfew - 10PM. We will have limited shelter and look forward to dancing the night away under the stars. Please be aware of the weather, and bring a jacket or warm layer if you need it! Also note, the ceremony, cocktails and dinner will be in the grass, so we recommend wearing blocked heels, or something thicker so you don't sink in.

What's for dinner?

Answer

We'll be serving a roasted chicken dinner, potentially family style, with 2 sides with DF & GF options! We will also have vegan options, so please let Chelsea know if you request this by June 10th!

Will there be meal options for people with dietary restrictions or preferences?

Answer

Yes, to an extent! We'll be doing our best to ensure the menu meets everyone's needs including vegan options, GF options, DF options! Please let Chelsea know about your allergies if she doesn't know already.

Will you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Currently, we're happy with our life's collection of things, unless there's something you'd like to give us that means something to you! We would prefer presentations as cash or a cheque. You can bring your gifts and cards to the ceremony, we will have a place for you to put them there!

Am i allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Absolutely, with respect! We encourage everyone to keep their phones away during our ceremony, though are welcome to use them to capture special moments through the rest of the event. We will also be passing around film cameras and disposables, and encourage everyone to take a turn shooting photo's so we can experience the day through your eyes! We will send all photo's to you all, so respectfully leave the film and camera's with us so we can develop them. We will have a designated place to put all fully used rolls of film.
