Wedding Party

Meet the wonderful people who are joining us on our journey to the alter.

Jody Kay Buehrer

Bride

Morgan Lee Richardson

Groom

Janey Buehrer

Maid of Honor

Janey is Jody's little sister. Even though Janey is five years younger, their bond resembles that of twins. Which they are often mistaken for. Janey enjoys pestering Morgan and aiding Jody in her countless adventures which often just entail going to Walmart at two o'clock in the morning. Janey has been chosen for the role of Maid of Honor because of her unwavering support, love, and understanding. When Morgan proposed, Jody knew immediately who she wanted to be standing next to her. Her wedding day just wouldn't be complete without her little sister.

Paige Coressel

Matron of Honor

Jody and Paige met for the first time in 2015 at Four County Career Center. The bond was almost instant and the girls spent hours of time together in the sewing area in the Interior Design lab. After spending every day together for two years, traveling to Columbus for competitions, and Paige getting stuck in the display case their bond was only strengthened. Paige is an amazing artist, makeup lover, and recently became a mother. Paige's significant other Brandon will also be featured walking down our aisle with their son Jude, our ring bearer.

Rebecca Jensen

Bridesmaid

Jody and Rebecca have been best friends since May of 2012. Their friendship started with mutual stubbornness. On a day when their mutual friend was absent, even though they were not fond of each other, they both refused to sit at a different lunch table. It was a quiet lunch until Rebecca started reading and Jody recognized the book. This was the beginning of a wonderful, supportive, inseparable bond.

Samantha Heath

Bridesmaid

Samantha and Jody met in grade school at Liberty Center. Although they weren't fond of one another in the beginning, Samantha taught Jody a lot about empathy, patience, and understanding. Her unwavering support through whatever Jody wanted to do was something Jody could always count on. Samantha is also a musically gifted person. They bonded over Samy's talent and once Jody got to know Samy's personality she just couldn't pass up a friendship like that.

Rebecca Sanders

Bridesmaid

Jody and Rebecca met through the theatre program at Liberty Center. Jody was originally drawn to Rebecca because she reminded Jody of her little sister Janey. As they kept in touch and performed together, Jody realized how much having Rebecca around added to her life. Rebecca is an incredibly talented artist and has made several works of art for the happy couple over the years. Having Rebecca in the wedding party was important to Jody because of how her energy and smile can brighten up a room. You can find her work on Instagram @rmjsanders

Sierra Richardson

Bridesmaid

Sierra is Morgan's older sister. Jody often jokes around about how she always wanted an older sister but only had older brothers. Then came Sierra. She has offered advice about everything from how to fill out financial aid to what rocks are the coolest. She is always ready to help and share her knowledge. Sierra is now working in her field as Grounds Maintenence Assistant at the Toledo Metroparks.

Brook West

Bridesmaid

When Brook found out Jody and Morgan were getting married, she was ecstatic. Brook is Morgan's bonus older sister. She is married to Noah West, a member of the United States Airforce. Brook is a talented artist and a professional body piercer at Electric Tattoo in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Brook has been helpful and supportive throughout Jody and Morgan's journey (telling them how great it is to be married) as well as designing some custom jewelry for Jody to wear at the altar. You can find her work on Instagram @biscuit_piercing136.

Samantha Wilson

Bridesmaid

Jody and Samantha met their sophomore year of college and commiserated over the class they shared. Samantha was pregnant with her son when they first met and they bonded over their love of coffee. Jody and Samantha grew closer through a group project since, after the birth of her son, she was no longer able to attend class in person for a while. Not only did Jody fall in love with Samantha's humor, their shared middle name, and Samantha's adorable little boy, but she also knew that she wanted Samantha's warm personality be a part of her wedding day.

Finn Haughn

Best Man

Richie Buehrer

Groomsman

Richie is one of Jody's older brothers. Although Richie is much older than Jody, that didn't stop them from having your typical brother/sister relationship. Jody was a flower girl at Richie's wedding in 2010. Jody and Richie have always been close they spent time together by Jody being launched into the air in their dad's living room to Richie getting way too drunk while hosting Jody's graduation party she just couldn't get married without him up there with her.

Justin Buehrer

Groomsman

Justin is another one of Jody's older brothers. Jody's most favorite memories with Justin are from the summers when she was still little enough to sit on the front of his dirt bike and fly through the neighbor's yard. Justin has always been Jody's fallback for "my brother is stronger than your brother" comebacks. He's no stranger to being as groomsmen as this will be his third time being in a wedding party. Justin's wild and loud personality can elevate any party atmosphere and we're so excited to have him there.

Jacob Buehrer

Groomsman

Jacob is Jody's youngest older brother. These two have always been close. Although Jacob wanted to take her back to the hospital when she was born a girl, she grew on him like a fungus. They spent almost all of their free time together playing video games. Well, Jody watching Jacob play video games. He taught her about strength, perseverance, and never taking less than she deserved. When Morgan proposed, she knew she couldn't do it without player one up there with her.

Danny Mytczynskyj

Groomsman

Morgan met Danny their freshman year of college at Bowling Green State University. They were roommates and sharing a broom closet-sized room can really bring you closer to someone. Morgan and Danny both have easy-going personalities and their love of video games gave them a platform to get to know one another.

Thomas McGilvery

Groomsman

Ian Ponceby

Groomsman

Logan Jones

Groomsman

Morgan and Logan consider themselves brothers. Morgan can recall when Logan was born, and as Logan grew up the boys began to get into trouble together, as boys do. From Morgan breaking something every summer to Logan permanently having a BB in his hip their bond is one of a kind. Morgan knew instantly that his wedding day would be lacking if Logan wasn't there with him.

Skilr Shook

Flower Girl

Skilr is the daughter of a close friend of Jody's; Kyrstn Hunt. Jody and Kyrstn have been friends for many years. Jody was one of the first people invited to meet Skilr hours after her birth. Jody and Kyrstn became friends in sixth grade at Liberty Center, they would often stay after school together and walk to the carryout on the edge of town to get Monster energy drinks. These days just seemed like excuses to get out of the house, but later became some of Jody's favorite memories with Kyrstn.

Jude Coressel

Ring Bearer

Jude is the son of one of our bridesmaids; Paige Coressel. He will be escorted by his father Brandon.

Richard Buehrer

Father of the Bride

My dad was reluctant to like Morgan. He was always so stuck on that "there's no one good enough for my daughter" schtick. As the years went on, Morgan grew on him. He saw how Morgan provided for me in every way possible. When finally one day we were group hugging and my dad said "Get over here Morgan. You're a part of the family too."

Crystal Malosh

Mother of the Bride

My mom has watched both Morgan and I grow up. She was the first to know when Morgan and I had our first kiss. She was the first to know when we got engaged, and she will be the first to cry at our wedding. She always says that Morgan is a perfect fit in our family and that my sibling's significant others are going to have some competition.

Nick Riley

Officiant

Jody and Morgan met Nick through the marching band program at Liberty Center. Jody and Morgan have always had immense respect for Nick. The happy couple picked Nick to be their officiant because he is no stranger to giving speeches. His demeanor commands attention and he speaks with purpose. Not only is Nick the marching band director at Liberty Center but he is also the founder of ConneXus. Nick has always been more than a teacher and we're proud to have him joining us on our big day.
