we're getting married...again!

Covid years ago, we swiped right, exchanged Snapchats, and never talked again. A few months later, we started sending random snaps here and there — until fate decided it was finally time to meet. And where do two cautious strangers meet safely? Naturally, Safeway on 109th Street. Nadine thought Josh seemed a little sketchy at first (he swears he’s just awkward). But as the two strangers got to know each other, Nadine started to feel something unexpected. It wasn’t fear — it was something different. Something so unfamiliar, she didn’t recognize it at first: it was love. And the rest, as they say, is history. History full of prayers, milestones and different seasons.

Josh had been secretly planning the perfect proposal with Nadine’s best friend and parents. The plan? A dreamy moment at Gardens by the Bay, followed by celebratory drinks atop Marina Bay Sands, complete with skyline views and secret photos to capture it all. But the universe had other plans. Just as they arrived at the Gardens, the skies opened up. A torrential downpour soaked the scene, and poor Pat got trapped by the rain — camera and all. The proposal spot was officially a no-go. Enter: Plan B — do the celebration first, propose later. So up they went to the rooftop bar for drinks and snacks. Nadine, completely unaware, kept asking, “Why are you so uptight about this reservation?” Not realizing it was meant to be the toast to their brand-new forever. They finished their food and headed off to Plan C — a new location for the big moment. But just as Josh was about to pop the question... all the lights turned off. Yep. Total blackout. So, on to Plan D: find any place at all. Finally, they landed by the waterfront, city lights sparkling, hearts pounding, and somehow, the chaos melted away. And there — soaked in rain, nerves, and love — Josh got down on one knee. She said yes. And just like that, the unplanned moment became the most unforgettable one.
