We're getting married!

Once upon a time (2008) in a far away place (Manchester) two pharmacists met and thought to themselves you're nice, but not my cup of tea. Safe to say it most definitely was not love at first sight .... Years later (2014), with a little growing up and some relationship disasters, who knew the Abdelkafi and Gwenter union was to be. One in Newcastle, the other in Cardiff, we certainly choose things the hard way. We'd like to think long distance worked because we were sensibly in our thirties, but it was probably all the travel dates! If we were flying to reunite, why not do it in style? With dates 2, 3, 4 ..... set in Malaga, Poland, Serbia .... here we are and here we go!

Mo's side: With this girl it was always a matter of when not if, so having just booked a bucket list trip to Bali I knew the time was right. On a stunning pier, jutting out into the Indian Ocean, all to ourselves and words failing me I just about held my nerve and presume she must have said yes! Jodie's side: Spotting mischief is usually my thing and when it comes to Mo, examples are plentiful. So what's one more ... and didn't the boy do well to distract and conceal? The proposal, in beautiful Bali was an incredible experience and an emotional surprise! Planned to the last detail, it was topped by a diamond sourced in Manchester and assembled in Cardiff. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you. See you in Gileston!
