Maid of Honor
Theresa is one of Jodie's oldest friends. They grew up together on Shelter Island, NY since they were in kindergarten. They have competed and commiserated through their younger years and have grown to be each other’s biggest fans. Their relationship is that of sisters, rather than simply friends. Theresa currently lives in Charlotte, NC where she works in the sports industry alongside The Hornets. She is a woman of stability, kindness, fun and some rockin' dance moves. Jodie is so thankful to call Theresa her Maid of Honor.

Jason Esler convinced Mark to move to McCarthy, site unseen, to open The Slow Down Cafe. Mark and Jason grew up in neighboring towns in Chicago, but did not meet until years later when their paths crossed in Utah and California. They instantly hit it off. Jason’s calm eccentricity with a passion for living life makes him an easy and aspiring companion. He is gifted with an extraordinary talent on the guitar and in songwriting -- sure to make you dance if you catch him at an open mic night. If it wasn’t for Jason picking up Rachael, Pivy and Jodie in the pouring rain on his four wheeler, Jodie might never have walked into the Slow Down Café and met Mark. Jodie and Mark are extremely excited to have Jason officiate their wedding -- he has been there since the very beginning!
