Our Special Day

For those who don't know, David and I grew up playing soccer. In high school, many students stayed after school to play. One of my friends had told me all about this goalie who was really good and almost impossible to score on. Since I am very competitive, I took that as a challenge and was determined to score on this goalie (who I had never met). I would soon find out that this goalies name was David. The connection was immediate and we became inseparable. David and I have been through many accomplishments together. Such as, high school graduations, college graduations, first jobs, first FUR-baby, and first home. For the past 8 years, we have grown together and our love has grown stronger. Jodie and I first met while playing the sport we both loved most: soccer. I vividly recall the day when a few friends and I decided to stay after school for a game. Towards the end of the day, they mentioned that a couple of girls from the soccer team would join us. As we began playing, the soccer girls arrived, and it was then that I first laid eyes on my beautiful fiancée. What struck me immediately were her stunning green eyes. Beyond her beauty, I quickly discovered her incredible personality. When it came time to choose teams, my friend and I were captains. The first girl I picked was Jodie. At the time, I didn't know her name, but luckily, she was wearing shorts with the number 16. Calling out for 'number 16' to join my team, Jodie was initially confused as she didn't realize she was wearing those shorts. We still look back on that moment and laugh. From that day on, my life took a remarkable turn as I found my soulmate. Together, we've faced numerous challenges, but with her unwavering support, we've conquered each one. Recently, we purchased a home, and I'm grateful for the loving environment we've created. Additionally, she's been instrumental in helping me pursue my dreams. Her support means everything to me.
