Jodi and Tim met when they were 12 years old in grade school. After grade school they both ended up at North Catholic High School. Before classes each morning you could find them sitting in the stairwell listening to music together and Jodi doing Tim's homework. After Jodi left for college they soon found their way back to each other and started dating in 2013. In that time frame they've made a ton of memories with so many more to come. They bought a home, adopted two kitties, and are looking forward to finally becoming husband and wife!
We recognize that all of our guests have varying needs and comfort levels with this situation. We want to let our guests know that your safety is our #1 priority and that we want everyone to be comfortable attending our wedding celebration. Here are some of the measures that we are taking to help everyone to safely celebrate: - Our ceremony will be outdoors. There will be chairs provided on the lawn for the event, but should you feel more comfortable keeping a little bit more distance from other guests, you are more than welcome to move a chair a little further out or to stand off to the side for the ceremony. - You are more than welcome to wear your mask for any part of our day. - We ask that all of our guests respect others wishes to social distance. - The bartenders will be asking that guests do not crowd around the bar and linger in that area. The goal is for guests to grab their drinks and relocate back to their table, the dance floor, or wherever they wish to be. This way other guests can get a drink in a safe manner. - The dinner will be a buffet style that is served to each guests. This ensures that the serving utensils are not being shared by all of the guests. - The dinner tables will be spread out as much as possible to ensure a safe distance from the adjacent tables. - Guests will have access to the entire outdoor grounds for the event. So if you are not comfortable with a busy dance floor or staying inside a tent all night, you have the option to walk outside for some fresh air to check out the the beautiful flowers, creek or pond on the grounds. - The cookie table will have hand sanitizer and gloves nearby for all guests to use. There will also be serving utensils for guests to use to avoid touching the cookies directly. Even with all of these precautions, we recognize that some guests may still not be comfortable attending. We respect your decisions and will celebrate with you in spirit!
All the chairs will be sanitized before guests come. The bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized every 30 min. We have hand sanitizers at every door. Honestly, all of the weddings we have had people have been aware of their surroundings. We don't have people crowded at the bar; people are standing in more of a line. We have social distanced the tables. We have signs that we are using for a red/yellow/green system with coordinating glow stick bracelets for the guests so that everyone is aware of other's situations. We have had people wear masks and people who didn't. People do generally feel more comfortable here because it is outside and you are able to socially distance. We are having more staff and they work longer hours to make your wedding dreams come true. All of the weddings we have had already during this pandemic, the guests have felt very comfortable. Guests have said that it felt good to get outside, that they were able to socialize, and enjoy spending time with friends and family. If people are sick we would ask them not to come. If people have been exposed to someone that has it in recent days we would ask them to be cautious on coming.
