In January 2020, at Tampa's oldest AA meeting, Jodi met Manley and was immediately captivated by his infectious smile. Little did she know, that smile was the start of a remarkable journey. At first, their interactions were filled with laughter, as Manley entertained Jodi with his humorous YouTube videos. But what began as playful banter soon evolved into something much deeper. Their first date at The Cheesecake Factory was a charming affair, marked by an undeniable bond over brown bread and Brussels sprouts😉. As the world came to a standstill in March 2020 due to Covid-19, Jodi and Manley found themselves spending hours on video calls, their connection growing stronger with each conversation. Jodi and Manley decided to quarantine together at Jodi’s house and what was meant to be a short, two-week stay (to ride out the covid storm) turned into an extended time of togetherness as they navigated the pandemic together. The time they spent cooped up only strengthened their relationship, proving their compatibility and deepening their love. Over the next four and a half years, Jodi and Manley built a life filled with laughter and love, along with their three beloved cats: Lucy, Gumford, and Beatrix Kitty.
