Jodi and Jacob's love story began at Aurora High School, where two teenagers quickly realized they were each other's best friend. On February 18th, 2017 Jacob asked Jodi on a date to Fun ‘n’ Stuff - they played laser tag, arcade games, and that night Jacob asked Jodi to officially be his girlfriend. He said “I don’t hold hands with girls unless they’re my girlfriend” !!! Fast forward to college, they both attended John Carroll University and pursued business degrees. Those years brought endless study sessions, countless memories with friends, and dreams of the future. After college graduation, Jacob began his career at Gallagher as a Benefits Consultant, and Jodi joined Park Place Technologies as an Account Manager. In May of 2024, they found their first house in Sagamore Hills and made it a home with the help of their family and friends. In March of 2024 they got their first puppy, Remi! She is a black lab and is truly their greatest joy. Then came May 23rd, 2024 - the day Jacob asked Jodi to marry him, and she said yes! This was a day they both will never forget. In September of 2024, their chapter of time at their first home closed as they found their new home in Hudson, OH. Over the years, Jacob and Jodi have grown side by side, creating a life filled with laughter, adventures, and meaningful moments shared with the people they love the most. They are beyond grateful for the constant love and support from their family and friends who are always by their sides. As they look ahead, they can't wait to celebrate their wedding day surrounded by those they love the most and to begin the next chapter of their story together!
