We met none other than the "LUV" Airline, Southwest. After several schedule changes, a reroute, and a maintenance issue delaying the flight, we finally departed. While giving the safety brief, I always brought my eyes back to the pilot sitting in seat 4A. (He chose to remain on that flight even though other options were available.) That's the beginning of a masked first conversation, an exchange of a note with phone number, and a nearly 7- hour phone call conversation a few days later.
While talking daily and traveling between MD and FL we knew we had a connection. While spending as much time together as possible. We soon realized that, not only do we have shared interests, beliefs, morals and goals; we share a lot of similar past experiences. We have also had the opportunity to meet and spend time with each others family and both of us feel a tremendous amount of love from them. Even our dogs (Ninja & Gentry) approval rating is high for us despite having never met.
We both love the ocean and it's activites, so I was thrilled to accompany Greg on a 6-day work trip to Jamaica. What I wasn't expecting was the 40ft below the sea proposal during our scuba dive! Yes, Greg had pre- arranged the scenario with the dive master and was able to use the underwater chalkboard/slate to pop the question. Of course I said...well, nodded YES! We removed our mouth pieces and kissed. The dive continued, as did our celebration once we returned to the boat and then onshore
