I was visiting my sister, Mandy, at Walmart, where Ethan also worked at the time. He came out of the breakroom and I told Mandy how cute I thought he was, and how she should date him.... until I found out he was my age. He then appeared on my 'people you may know' on Instagram, so I very bravely added him and messaged him shortly after he accepted. And the rest, as they say, is history.

We were on vacation at Freeport, Bahamas. I, of course, was taking a thousand pictures before I did anything else. There was a beautiful secluded area that was surrounded by rocks and was used as a higher view of the ocean. I was taking a picture when I turned around and Ethan was on his knee with a ring. He asked if I'd marry him and I was completely speechless and couldn't speak for a second. I think he realized that because he said my name, and I said "are you serious!? Of course I will!" We were the only ones in that area, so it was a very private and beautiful engagement.
