Yes, we are asking that ALL guests, regardless of vaccination status, take a test. After consulting with many friends, family, and wedding vendors, unfortunately there have been a number of events with exclusively vaccinated people that have experienced the spread of COVID. By testing beforehand, we can be sure to dramatically reduce the risk of our wedding putting our loved ones at risk.
Please take your test within within 72 hours of your arrival at the wedding (or rehearsal day if you are attending).
You can order free rapid tests via the USPS website and you can get them free from most pharmacies if you have insurance. You can also find locations near you that provide PCR tests, but those tend to take longer to receive results and for that reason we recommend rapid tests.
You can take any kind of test that you prefer (PCR or rapid), although we recommend rapid tests as they produce results within 15 minutes.
The location you receive your test will send you an email with your result or rapid tests will have instructions on how to check results. If you took a PCR test, this could take anywhere from 12-48 hours. If you test positive, even if you have no symptoms, we ask that you do not attend the wedding, as you still may be contagious.
Guests will not be required to wear masks unless it is mandated by the state at the time of the wedding. However, we support you taking any precautions you feel necessary to ensure your own safety, including wearing a mask!
